Heritage Archaeology have been on site undertaking a heritage impact assessment in Flintshire for two new planned solar farms on behalf of Flintshire County Council, the new Solar farms will contribute towards the council’s green agenda. The heritage impact assessment included looking at the setting of Flint Castle from the viewing platform in the Great Tower. Check out the great photo below. The Heritage Archaeology Ltd team had a good day undertaking a Level 2 historic building recording of a farmstead in Cheshire, to address a planning condition for our client. An interesting project helping to work out the origins and development of the farmstead and contributing to the research aims of the NWRRF. Heritage Archaeology Ltd is thrilled to be part of the Pioneer 10 programme at Harborough Innovation Centre. Pioneer 10 is a programme that fuels the growth of industry and innovation in the Harborough District. Support offered through the programme is free to businesses, supported by HIC and partners, Harborough District Council. This year’s final is coming up on 8th April. We’ve really benefitted from the training and mentoring being part of the programme.
