Helena has over 20 years’ experience working as a heritage consultant. Until recently, she was an Associate Director at TEP and lead the Historic Environment sector of the business, prior to which Helena was an Associate Director at RSK, again leading the Historic Environment team. Helena has been a full Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists since 2004 and serves on the Institute’s validation committee. Helena has a strong track record as a historic environmental consultant, having provided written and oral evidence for a number of public inquiries, planning hearings, written planning appeals, and DCO examinations. Helena has extensive experience in preparing heritage statements, mitigation strategies, and the design, commission and management of archaeological fieldwork.

Simon Loaring (Senior Heritage Consultant)
MSc (Bath), PGCert (Oxford) BA Hons (Durham)
Simon has many years experience in the heritage/planning sector across a wide range of organisations including The National Trust, RCHME (now Historic England), Bath Preservation Trust, British Waterways (now Canal & Rivers Trust) and local authorities. Simon has a real passion and understanding of the built environment and has extensive experience of preparing listed building applications, conservation statements, repair schedules, desktop reports and building recording surveys. As a consultant Simon has been part of multi-disciplinary teams for grant-aided heritage projects in the South-West and Wales.
