Helena Kelly (Director – Lead Heritage Consultant, Expert Witness)
BSc Hons (Bournemouth), MCIFA
Helena has over 25 years’ experience working as a heritage consultant. Until recently, she was an Associate Director at TEP and lead the Historic Environment sector of the business, prior to which Helena was an Associate Director at RSK, again leading the Historic Environment team. Helena has been a full Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists since 2004 and serves on the Institute’s validation committee. Helena has a strong track record as a historic environmental consultant, having provided written and oral evidence for a number of public inquiries, planning hearings, written planning appeals, and DCO examinations. Helena has extensive experience in preparing heritage statements, mitigation strategies, and the design, commission and management of archaeological fieldwork.

Joseph Pole (Director – Heritage Consultant (Garden Historian), Business Management)

Joseph is a garden historian and heritage consultant with a specialism in historic gardens and cultural landscapes providing expert advice and guidance on all facets of historic garden design, management, conservation, interpretation, maintenance and restoration, or sustainable development historic parks, gardens, and designed landscape.
Joseph has many years’ experience in supervising and directing the company’s operations. Joseph performs a range of tasks, overseeing Heritage Archaeology’s productivity and efficiency, including implementing business strategies, evaluating company performance, and supervising employees. Joseph has a real passion for the historic environment and also manages site work, subcontractors and archaeological fieldwork.
