5 Green New Year Resolutions at Heritage Archaeology
1. Take public transportation.
Where possible the Heritage Archaeology Team will always take public transport. Using public transport reduces greenhouse gas emissions and reduces congestion on our road.
2. Switch off unnecessary equipment.
Heritage Archaeology is committing to switch off our equipment and office lights when not in use. This is a simple action to take to be save energy and in turn reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
3. Go Paper Free
Heritage Archaeology commits to reducing paper usage in our office internally and externally. We only print when necessary and use electronic documents and double sided printing whenever possible. Any paper that can be will be reused as scrap note paper or recycled after use.
4. Reuse or Recycle
Most of the office waste generated by staff at Heritage Archaeology is recyclable. We now have multiple office bins for recycling paper, plastic, cans and any other recyclable wasted. Paper is reused as scrap note paper before being recycled. We hope the team will take pride in reducing the amount of landfill waste they generate.
5. Don’t buy single use cups, bring your reusable one.
All members of the Heritage Archaeology team now have their very own new reusable cup to use when on site visits or when out and about. We can all now enjoy our very own reusable tea or coffee. Cheers!
